Popular Ghanaian pastor, Rev. Obofour, has shared his strong opinion on education, and it’s causing a lot of talk. He said that if your main goal is to become rich or make money, going to school is not the best way to do it.
Rev. Obofour explained that he has thought deeply about this and believes that education, which many people think is very important, may not be as useful as it seems. He mentioned a philosopher named AN Whitehead, who once said that education helps clean the mind, but Rev. Obofour disagrees. He thinks this idea is no longer true in today’s world.
The pastor said there are many other ways to become rich without spending years in school. He used Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu as an example, saying that you don’t need to go to school to be successful.
Rev. Obofour advised Ghanaians to be smart and focus on practical ways to improve their lives instead of just going to school. His words have caused mixed reactions, with some people agreeing and others saying education is still very important.
